Our technology advancement in this 20 decades has exceeded the whole human history. ( Excluding those conspiracy technologies like the construction of the pyramid and etc.)
It is also predicted that our technology ability will be a Quadrillion times more advance than today in just 50 years' time.
Alright, let's not use all your equations and logics to see if that prediction is true. But one thing I'm very certain about is, robots and AI (Artificial Intelligence) will 100% be integrated into our daily lives in the near future.
This means that some, if not most, of the jobs out there will sooner or later be replaced by either robots or AI.

I'm fortunate to say that I enrolled into a good coursem Engineering with Business. Although this course has no specialisation, but this course can equip me with the ability to view both the business world and the engineering world and with this ability, I am able to see things a bit differently.
For instance, one of the modules that I have brings us out of the classroom to see the real world. And for my batch, it is an AI start up at LaunchPad, One-North. Aka the Sillicon Valley of Singapore. But for now, let's just call this AI company, Company X.

Company X develops a special kind of AI that has the potential to totally replace the human job, secretary. Because this AI, helps the user (mainly businessmen/businesswomen) to plan and schedule meetings into their already tight schedule.
Hey, it’s not as easy as you think! It’s more than just slotting meetings into empty time slots in the calendar. This AI is just like a virtual secretary as it is highly interactive.
This “secretary” is designed to understand slang words from the user, which makes the communication much easier. Also, the user doesn’t have to specially go to another app just to schedule the meeting. The “secretary” will take care of it automatically if it is scheduled through email.
Not only this “secretary” checks the user’s availability for their meetings, it can also suggest the possibility of the user making to the meeting or not.
Oops, you might not understand what I just said. Sorry for my horrible English. But what I meant was that the “secretary” will do a comparison of the user’s existing schedule for example, the free time in between the meetings, location, time zone (dinner/lunch time, Peak Vs Non-peak) and then confirm the meeting with the user.
That “secretary”, is just a very small part in the whole AI world and in fact, the founder of the start up said that they are just 1% done. But it has also proved to us that not only those workers in the factories are facing the danger of unemployment, office jobs might not be safe anymore too.

Alright, guess it’s time to change the mood. Let’s not get so discouraged about the future of AI yet. Even though they will become very powerful, (Yes, they will become very very powerful) there are still things that AIs and the robots can’t do.
The smartest brains in the world had signed a treaty of not building any self-learning AI or have any kind of conciousness in the robots and a lot more with technology which Birdie cant remember. But the whole purpose of treaty, is to save humanity. So the movie series Terminator will remain as a movie instead of a documentary.
With this, some of you might have guessed it already, creative productions is the thing that AI and robots cant do as they simply does not have a brain.
However, if you have no idea what to do in the future and hope that you can get some what a random job and just survive your life as it goes, I please you to think again. I'm in no position to say anything about your future but I just hope that you won't rank below robots and AIs.
